03 Jan The Ordinary Moments #1

This is my first ever post linking up with Katie of MummyDaddyMe with #theordinarymoments.

The idea of The Ordinary Moments is this:

{the ordinary moments}

‘The simple things in life are often the sweetest.  While the fancy days out, weekends away or holidays are fun, it’s the ordinary moments I will miss when my children are all grown up.  The snuggling in bed reading a story.  The giggles as they run around my overgrown garden with the grass that desperately needs a cut.  Even the naughty ones.  The ones we all have.

Just a photo from your week.  The simple.   The exciting.  The imperfect.  The Ordinary Moments.’

So without further ado #theordinarymoments I want to record this week, are from a wander out to the beach before Christmas with my family. It was freezing, we all got wet feet, but we flew a kite and we were all together! It was fab.  I have changed my life this year and I’m hoping for loads more time for ordinary moments especially with Izzy and Eve before they start school in September.  If I can link up at least once a month with this link up I’ll be very happy indeed.

    Ah it is so lovely to have you Karen, I am so excited you have decided to join in when you can. These are gorgeous photos, they look like something out of a magazine. The question is what is the colour of the sky? We haven’t seen any blue around here for ages, it is just grey, dull and wet. 2016 is set to be a very exciting time for you now you are no longer at work- I can’t wait to see how both your blogs develop. xx
